Nearing the End

My wife and I have chosen not to have kids. I won't get into all the reasons for this, because it's very personal and no one's business but our ours. nonetheless, we consider ourselves parents. Of dogs . Folks that have biological children to care for perhaps don't understand this, but,we love our dogs as much as a we would love a human child. They are our babies. The unfortunate part of being a dog parent is that you are, in all likelihood, going to outlive your child. Parents of human children generally aren't going to experience this, and this puts pet parents in a unique and terrible position. Every ten or fifteen years, they will go through a grief cycle over the loss of their child. Each time rips your heart out, but you take comfort in new dogs to love and care for and in being able to share that grief with others. Josh Powell is In Hell

Anyone who knows me and/or follows my writing both and on my hubpage account , knows that I was reared in a very Christian home and am now, in my thirties struggling with many common and widely held beliefs that the modern Christian church teaches. The most alarming of these is the concept of hell . I question how a loving God, a Creator who refers to Himself as “Love” would create creatures that would end up in a placed of eternal anguish called “hell”. Thankfully, because of Josh Powell , I’m clinging to the idea of hell—and of heaven—and some sort of comfort. Josh Powell was a person of interest in his wife Susan's 2009 disappearance. She is most likely dead and he is almost positively the reason for it. Killing your wife is bad, killing your children is worse and incomprehensible even to me, a lifelong non-parent. My first movie

Okay, the title is a little deceiving. What this is is a video I put together of one of my dad's songs. He's a musician, he's made four albums and done plenty of tours. He teaches music and still performs on occasion.  He wants to put some of his songs on youtube, and I've been tasked with putting them together. I've never made a movie before, but I think this is decent. I wanted to get some feedback here for it, though it is already up on youtube. Thanks! if the video doesn't work, click here .
